I discovered Pilates in 1985 as a ballet student in our summer workshop taking a Pilates Mat class and immediately felt the benefits of Pilates work. As I continued to practice Pilates as a professional dancer, I realized how critically important to my career and well being it was to rehab injuries and to feel my healthiest.
Believing in the method and as living proof that it really works, I got certified in STOTT PILATES 2001.
Wanting to add to my teaching and feeling the benefits of AntiGravity Aerial Fitness, I became certified in 2016.
My favorite part of teaching is watching clients’ practice evolve so that it enables them to do things in the studio and in their lives that they might not have thought possible and getting to celebrate those movement milestones with them.
Fun fact: My BA is in Psychology and I used to work in in-patient and outpatient behavioral health.
